BIPOC/PGM DEATH CAFE*

Every third Wednesday at 5PM PT. An open and honest talk about death. This Death Cafe is specifically for People of the Global Majority(PGM)/Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). We have a different experience when it comes to death and dying. We have been denied things in death that would be seen as basic human rights. This is space away from the gazing eye of "well that happens to everyone" and "prove to me your struggles".

*Minimum of 3 participants required to conduct cafe. Sign up closes at 9AM the day of the event.

Monthly PGM/BIPOC Death Workers Support Circle

The death and grief space for PGM/BIPOC workers is rife with barriers. From non-visibility to social media shushing us on the algorithm.

Being in a body of culture as a death grief (or loss) worker presents a different lived experience not only in the work but how we move daily out in the world.

If you are navigating this, we as in Ori, The Death Companion and I, want to offer a peer supportive environment for us to get real with each other.

This is a monthly community support circle for death workers who are PGM/BIPOC (including mixed folks.) We meet the third Thursday of every month via Zoom.

Event can be booked on Eventbrite by clicking the photo on the left. Then click the button to reserve your spot.

Living legacy project

What does it mean to you to create your living legacy? What contribution do you want to make to the world? It may be impacting a huge population by creating social change or improvement. It may also be more intimate reach with a deeper impact to a smaller group. There is no wrong answer to the question of what you want your living legacy to be.

The real question is what do you want to leave behind? In this one hour workshop we will talk about just that. We will also start a living legacy project that you and your family can add to as time goes on.

Cost: $65
